I'm a long-haired, pun-impaired, slightly techno-phobic, work-bruised nerd and I LARP. Oh, but there is so much more. Handle with care. Or, just handle. Put me in a sunny place, and water regularly, and I will grow. If you play with my hair, I purr. Keep me away from sharp implements and open flame. I am sanitized for your protection. I am occasionally known as an ocelot. Occasionally as a bad, bad ocelot. If you ask politely, I may tell you why.
I write about many things here--often I talk to it as well for my health. Games which amuse me, events that are neat or are shared with friends, and, I write about conventions and other LARPs I go to, and I post quizzes that amuse me. (I have a rather broad definition of events which are neat, by the way.)
I rant here because I care too much. Rants are clearly marked for your protection. Beware the sputtering icon. The civil liberties icons, too, if that's not your thing--even though it should be. (And yes, surprise, surprise, I've been a Republican my whole life. But not the idiotarian wingnut or social beat-gays-in-the-face-with-a-tire-iron kind. I actually do my research rather than listen to what the conservative-in-fact media tells me. And Georgie and his crowd of greedy, incompetent liars need to go. They're stinking up the place.)
I like fun, happy things, too. Games are fun. People are fun. Costume is fun. LARP is fun, fun, fun. (Come to Intercon G.) Leather is fun. Fun people are fun. Fun things to do to with to with fun people are fun.
